What we do

Serving The Community

We empower individuals through volunteer coordination, disaster response, community classes, and blessing boxes.

We support nonprofits and churches with office sharing, networking, and resource partnerships, helping bring visions into reality and establish 501c3 status.

We partner with local municipalities, first responders, and businesses to provide volunteer assistance when needed, filling gaps for citizens without safety nets.

As members of Tennessee VOAD and local VOADs, we assist in disaster response with volunteer coordination and resource distribution.

How we serve

Choose a path. See how neighbors help neighbors.

Walk through the four ways Walking With Swager shows up in Middle Tennessee — classes, food access, supplies, and hands-on projects.

Volunteers on a service project

01 / Service Projects

Show up. Build. Rebuild.

Churches, schools, businesses, and neighbors join us for hands-on projects — ramps, cleanups, disaster response, and everyday fixes.

  • Disaster and everyday community response
  • Student service hours (Beta Club, Hope Scholarship)
  • Internships and volunteers of every skill level

When the unexpected hits Middle Tennessee, we mobilize people to meet real needs on the ground.

The Difference A Ramp Makes

“Look at this! Elvis spent some time outside today. We took him up and down his new ramp and soaked up some sunshine. You guys worked so hard all day! I can’t begin to know how to show our appreciation, except to ask God to pour out a giant blessing upon you!”

— Diane Harrison, Ramp Recipient
